  7. X.25 for UNIX is a Streams implementation of 1984 CCITT standard X.25, and
  8. GOSIP compliance that provides UNIX hosts access to public and private X.25
  9. packet-switched networks.  The x-pad utility provides a full X.3/X.28/X.29
  10. implementation.  Other utilities provide for remote login, remote mail, and
  11. fast remote file transfer.  The X.25 packet-and-frame level options are set
  12. first by default and then by values entered in the file /usr/net/xconfig,
  13. which may be modified to conform to the requirements of most packet-switching
  14. networks.  X.25 for UNIX is certified on packet-switching networks around the
  15. world.  X.25 for UNIX is designed to work with the ADAX high-performance APC
  16. Advanced Protocol Controller series (please refer to the hardware section of
  17. this catalogue for a description) Adax's A-streams is a module and driver
  18. library supporting up to 255 sessions with 1984 CCITT Standard PVCs, SVC's,
  19. Fast Select and an API.  ADAX X.25 optional software extensions support
  20. wide-area TCP/IP, OSI, RFS and uucp, individually or in combination.
